A tracklist that starts after the party
Even before pressing play, the song titles give After Us a striking frame. The album opens with “After the Party,” moves through “When the Room Went Quiet” and “Once the Crowd Cleared,” and closes with “You Left Like Pictures Off The Wall.”
Read together, those titles suggest the moments that come after an evening, a crowd or a relationship: the quiet room, the changed house and the memories that remain. That is an interpretation of the tracklist, and it gives a first-time listener an intriguing thread to follow through the sequence.
The title After Us invites a big question about what remains when “us” becomes the past. For anyone drawn to that idea, the album’s naming alone makes a strong invitation to spend time with it.
